"My cardiologist asked what I'd changed"
I'm 63. Four miles a day, gave up red meat in 2019, and my calcium score still went 240 to 311 in three years. Every appointment was the same conversation. Eat well. Keep exercising. We'll watch it.
Nobody ever told me the plaque was tissue my own body was building. That changed how I thought about the whole thing.
Month four now. Last panel was the first one in six years that didn't go the wrong way. My cardiologist asked what I'd changed, and for once I had an answer.
